Shparkify may not be the ultimate Pokemon in all of the Roosevelt region, but it sure is important. Back before the game's events, their numbers where much higher and they helped protect the seaboard from extremely dangerous monsters like Skimerish (Which is essentially the Kraken and is a fire/water type) and the occasional non-native bird or dragon type. The lore of the game goes on to explain how everyone in Westt Coast, Port Luna, and even Swotu Island are trying to help build up their numbers due to the fear of extremely dangerous water Pokemon...

The picture is of a male one obviously underwater... I used various brushes to attempt to create the feel of being in well... the ocean.
