Biographical Summary:
While there exists no documentation of all things done her life, Helena has kept a journal of events and kept some of the records with her. Her life started out really good, with her mother and father being local alchemists in the mountain region of the Kitsune Realms who very much loved their daughter, even if she occasionally got into trouble with the neighbor kids and taking flowers from the public garden. Helena was a sort of tom-boyish and hardy type, enjoying playing and learning with local kids as opposed to the rich and royal that her family had to do work for. Both Helena and her parents believed that magic and technology should be available to everyone, and not to an elite few.

Helena would do well in school, excelling at writing, since she liked to take down journals and notes of her surroundings. Eventually, her achievements in the basics would earn her a spot in the high-class magical academy, in which it would be during this time she would meet up with Skillar and Clarke, two men who eventually become important figures later in her life due to an incident in which one student wrecked the world by unleashing a cosmic horror that Skillar, Clarke, Helena, along with a few others, would witness and be scared for life about.

Eventually Helena grew up and had to leave the place she'd call home, in which her family would go away to some other location far away, to be safe from whatever horror was unleashed at the academy. Helena would eventually take a job at a camp in the Great Forest to mine crystals and harvest timber, and also took a side job at a dance troupe to work with the group of belly dancers. She currently keeps these jobs and hopes to hear from her parents again. Her best friends are Clarke and Bree, while her worst enemies are the Camp Foreman and the Belting Bard.

Personality Summary:
Helena appears to be a brutal looking woman when for the most part, she tends to be quite kind and sassy natured. While she does show off her body, she is not overzealous of herself and actually does her best to be a role model for the rest of her friends, especially for those who have skills and abilities better than her own. Many of the members of the dance group and Bree look to her as a "big sister" of sorts, while everyone else sees her as a reliable worker. Helena's a lot of big fun who knows how to make you feel at home.

However, she does have her secrets, most of which is her concern of her parents' safety. She often writes them letters and sends them some of her stories and journals to read about what's she has been up to. Helena also seems to be weary of the event that happened back at the magic academy and sometimes can't sleep at night thinking about it, especially if someone she knows is out of the local area. She also has a bad side, but it takes a lot to push her there due to her high tolerance with people.

Voice: A bright, deep alto with a taste of the Deep-South (expect her to say "sugar" and "honey" and sway some of her vowels around)/African American sound.

Notes and Trivia:
- Despite being classified as a sumo koopa, Helena's relationship with the koopas of the Mario games starts and stops at the name sake and the fact she has a shell on her back. She can't reside into her shell, she can't remove her shell, and she has no real idea who "Bowser" is.
- Helena is very graceful due to her work with the dance group, which also helps her stay flexible for work at the camp.
- Helena may have most likely been modeled after Queen Latifia or Mon'que.
- Helena has long red hair, however, it can't be seen half of the time due to her shell.
- Helena is one of the few female characters to not have a canonological love interest.
- Helena uses a large ax as both a weapon and as a tool in the camp.
- Helena is the only female that was drawn in the belly dancer garb that actually specializes in that form of dance. Ericka does all forms of dancing and therefore doesn't specialize in that type of dance despite doing it.
- Despite her tail looking unnaturally long, it is supposed to be that long. It's a big part of what helps keep her balance. It isn't like Arthur's tail, which is a helpful kind of birth defect.
